Last week HOME, Inc. held our annual Hunt for Housing fundraising event. Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate HOME, Inc.’s successes and our incredible, former executive director Pam Carmichael’s retirement. Pam helped build HOME, Inc.’s reputation for dedicated service and quality investments for families seeking housing.
The Event was attended by friends, donors, and community members all dedicated to providing affordable housing to the Des Moines community and beyond. Over 175+ showed up to support our mission to create opportunities for quality, affordable housing. We want to give a big shout out to our corporate and individual donors for helping us exceed our fundraising goal! We were able to raise $83,000+ to support our dedicated staff and programs.
This event was extra special as many of have spent the last 18+ months stuck indoors quarantining or social distancing from our friends and family. We were so grateful to be back in person and connecting with our community. HOME, Inc. would not be successful without every single person who attending the event and even those who support us from a far. We thank you for your support and commitment to HOME, Inc. and serving those in need.
