As the inauguration of President-Elect Joe Biden draws closer, it is important to understand the future of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the United States. President-Elect Biden has selected Marcia Fudge to head this department. This new appointment promises to bring COVID-19 relief, as well as fighting for housing equality.
These ideas will hopefully bring change to the housing disparities and rising homeless population in the Des Moines area, as well as change on the national level. Representative Fudge will bring new perspectives and hopefully help HOME, Inc. fulfill our vision of providing affordable housing opportunities for all Iowans.
