The Iowa Nonprofit Awards Summit recognizes the exceptional practices, achievements, and impact of nonprofit organizations and professionals in their efforts to address challenges in their communities.
We are proud to accept the Iowa Nonprofit Award. Throughout the past year and a half, the HOME, Inc. staff and community has worked exceptionally hard to provide services and relief throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. This award recognizes the hard work and dedication HOME, Inc. has exhibited.
HOME, Inc. is dedicated to supporting our Des Moines community by providing relief services during COVID-19. We received over $1 million dollars in relief funds and are proud to say we have distributed 90% of the funds to those in need. Thanks to the wonderful work of our staff at HOME, Inc. we were able to provide aid quickly and accurately to those in need.
Our mission to provide quality, affordable housing has been emphasized more by the struggles felt by many families during the past year. HOME, Inc. is here to provide any support we can to anyone who has questions or concerns about housing. This award is a great recantation but the fight for affordable housing never ends and neither will we!
